    Three‑Course Tea (Bai Ethnic Group)
Three‑Course Tea is the time‑honored hospitality ritual of Dali’s Bai people, carrying the life philosophy: bitter first, then sweet, and lasting aftertaste.
‑ 1st Bitter Tea: Roasted green tea, strong bitter taste, symbolizing hardships in life.
‑ 2nd Sweet Tea: Tea mixed with brown sugar, walnut and local Bai milk fan, sweet and nutty, representing rewards after hard work.
‑ 3rd Aftertaste Tea: Seasoned with honey, ginger and pepper, multi‑layered flavors for deep reflection.
Take part in this authentic cultural tasting and experience local Bai traditions firsthand.
  2. Zhoucheng Village
    2h · Admission ticket included
Located in Zhoucheng Village, the hometown of Bai tie‑dye, this is a national intangible cultural heritage craft passed down among local Bai families for over 1,500 years.

Join a hands‑on tie‑dye workshop guided by local artisans. You will fold, bind and stitch your fabric, then dip it into natural indigo dye made from plant woad. Witness the magical moment as fabric turns from green to classic Bai blue‑and‑white patterns.

Every finished work is one‑of‑a‑kind due to natural dyeing effects. Take your unique handmade souvenir home, and dive deep into genuine Bai folk culture in this ancient village.
  3. Erhai Lake
    2h · Admission ticket included
Ride along the car‑free Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, a dedicated lakeside greenway with no motor vehicles allowed.
Enjoy relaxing cycling with breathtaking views of Erhai blue waters and distant Cangshan Mountain. The flat, smooth path suits all fitness levels. Pause anytime for photos, breathe fresh lakeside air, and pass wetland, farmland and quiet Bai villages. Slow‑travel at your own pace to soak in Dali’s iconic lakeside scenery.
