Ramboda Falls – A Photogenic Waterfall Experience
Ramboda Falls is one of the most beautiful and famous waterfalls in Sri Lanka’s central highlands, located along the scenic Kandy–Nuwara Eliya route. The waterfall is approximately 109 metres high and is surrounded by lush green mountains, tea plantations and misty landscapes.
It is a fantastic photogenic location, offering visitors many opportunities to capture beautiful photos of the waterfall and surrounding mountain scenery.
Visitors can also enjoy a short nature walk and, when conditions are safe and water levels are suitable, swimming in natural pools near the waterfall. The rocks can be slippery and currents may be strong, so swimming should only be done with great caution.
