What to expect

Make your own way to My Tho City, approximately 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City and around 1.5 hours by car. If you need a private car from Ho Chi Minh City to the boat pier, contact us after booking and we will be happy to assist with the arrangements. Meet your guide at 8, 30/4 Street, Ward 1, My Tho City, and begin your private Mekong Delta experience. Cruise along the Tien River by private motorboat before visiting Thoi Son (Unicorn) Island. Taste longan honey tea at a local bee farm, sample tropical fruits, enjoy traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music, and discover local specialties. Travel through the peaceful village by horse-drawn carriage, then enjoy a 2-km sampan ride along narrow coconut-lined waterways—one of the highlights of the tour. Visit a traditional coconut candy workshop before continuing to Ben Tre for a Mekong-style lunch. After lunch, relax or try optional local folk games and activities. Finish with a relaxing boat ride back to the 30/4 Boat Pier in My Tho.
