On this 1-hour ride, your local guide pedals you past 15+ of the park's most iconic spots, including Bethesda Terrace and its famous fountain, the romantic Bow Bridge and the Strawberry Fields memorial to John Lennon, sharing stories, history and famous movie locations along the way. Stop as often as you like - photo stops are unlimited and included, and your guide is happy to grab the perfect shot for you. What to expect

  1. Bethesda Terrace
    10m
The iconic heart of Central Park - the grand Bethesda Terrace and its famous Bethesda Fountain (Angel of the Waters), a top photo stop.
  2. Bow Bridge
    8m
One of New York's most romantic and photographed bridges, with beautiful views over Central Park Lake - a favorite photo stop.
  3. Strawberry Fields
    5m
The peaceful memorial to John Lennon, with the famous Imagine mosaic, near the Dakota Building.
  4. Wollman Rink
    5m
Your guide pauses at the rink made famous by Home Alone 2 and Serendipity. In winter you watch skaters circle beneath the Midtown skyline; in summer the same spot opens onto a wide view of Central Park South.
  5. Gapstow Bridge
    Pass by
The vine-covered stone arch over the Pond, instantly recognisable from Home Alone 2 and Gossip Girl. One of the most photographed views in the park, with the Plaza Hotel framed behind it.
  6. Central Park Zoo
    Pass by
You roll past the gates of the zoo that inspired Madagascar and appeared in Mr. Popper's Penguins. Listen for the Delacorte Clock, whose bronze animals circle and chime on the half hour.
  7. Balto Statue
    Pass by
The bronze sled dog who carried diphtheria antiserum across Alaska in 1925 and later starred in his own animated film. A favourite with kids, polished smooth by decades of small hands.
  8. Sheep Meadow
    Pass by
Fifteen acres of open lawn with the Midtown skyline rising straight up behind it. Real sheep grazed here until 1934. This is the classic Central Park postcard shot.
  9. The Dakota
    Pass by
The Gothic apartment building across from Strawberry Fields where John Lennon lived, and the exterior used in Rosemary's Baby. Your guide points out the gabled roofline from inside the park.
  10. Central Park Carousel
    Pass by
One of the largest merry-go-rounds in the country, with 57 hand-carved horses dating to 1908. You hear the band organ before you see it.
