Inside the Amore Art Gallery, in the heart of Taormina, you will live an experience dedicated to the discovery of one of the most iconic symbols of Sicily: the Dark Head. It is not just a ceramics course, but a refined artistic ritual in which myth, craftsmanship and contemporary art intertwine in the elegant atmosphere of the gallery.
Guided by the artist, you will learn about the tradition and meaning of the Dark Head, a symbol of beauty, passion, identity and memory deeply rooted in the culture of the island. You will continue with the explanation of the processing steps and the modeling of ceramics, closely observing how this Sicilian icon takes shape.
Finally, you will take part in the most anticipated creative moment: decoration. Under the Artist’s Guide working on colors, details and symbols, you will create a personal work inspired by your taste and imagination.
The experience takes place in an intimate and elegant environment, immersed in contemporary art and Sicilian suggestions. At the end of the experience, you will bring with you a unique creation: more than a souvenir, an authentic memory of your stay in Taormina.
