Located steps from Yasaka Shrine in the heart of Gion, CASA offers a huge selection of kimono and yukata at an affordable price, with professional dressing by friendly English-speaking staff. We are open until 10 PM, so you can enjoy an evening walk through Gion's lantern-lit streets in kimono - something few shops in Kyoto offer. Optional hair styling with hair accessories is available at the shop for 1,500 yen (included for yukata plans). Walk-ins are welcome. Open every day from 12:00 noon to 10 PM (closed Sundays, open on holidays). In autumn, Kodaiji Temple nearby is illuminated until 10 PM - perfect for a night stroll in kimono.
