    Your adventure begins with a 4:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive to Ollantaytambo and a train journey to KM 104, where the Short Inca Trail begins. Hike through beautiful cloud forest landscapes, explore the spectacular Wiñay Wayna archaeological site, and enjoy a freshly prepared picnic lunch along the trail. Continue to the legendary Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu before descending to the citadel.

Day 2: Guided tour of Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.

    After breakfast at your hotel, take the shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of Circuit 3, one of the most complete routes through the citadel. Your expert guide will share the fascinating history, architecture, and significance of this Inca wonder during a tour lasting approximately 2 hours.

    After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have free time to explore the town, relax, or enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants (lunch not included). Later, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you comfortably to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel. Expected arrival time in Cusco is around 7:00 PM.

Pickup details

Please let us know the name of your hotel in Cusco at the time of booking, or at least 2 days before your departure. We will coordinate your pickup before the tour and your drop-off after the tour accordingly. Your guides and drivers will take care of all the details so you can simply relax and enjoy your experience.
