What to expect

East Lombok's secret islands are one of the region's best-kept travel secrets. Far from the busy waters of the Gili Islands, these remote atolls are surrounded by rich, intact reef systems and white-sand beaches that see only a handful of visitors each week.
Your tour departs at 07:30 AM — earlier than most tours — to take advantage of glassy morning sea conditions and the best snorkelling light. After a scenic drive to East Lombok, you board your private traditional boat and head out to Gili Petangan, your first stop, a small island with excellent snorkelling in shallow coral gardens.
From there, the day unfolds across Gili Kapal, Gili Bidara, and Gili Kondo, each offering a different reef character. Your guide will identify the fish, coral species, and marine creatures you encounter, and capture your best underwater moments on GoPro.
