What to expect

  1. Hongya Cave
    Pass by
Hongya Cave is a landmark cliffside complex featuring classic Bayu stilt-house architecture with 11 stacked floors along the Jialing River.
It is famous for its stunning illuminated night view and is often called the real-life town from Spirited Away. Inside you’ll find local snack stalls, souvenir shops and great viewing terraces. Admission is free for all visitors.
  2. Qiansimen Bridge
    Pass by
Spanning the Jialing River, Qiansimen Bridge glows in red and golden lights after dark like a giant fire dragon resting on the water. Its shimmering reflection spreads across the river surface. Beside it lies the brilliantly lit Hongyadong, while neon glimmers from Chongqing Grand Theatre on the opposite bank. Old and modern lights echo across the river. Viewed from a cruise ship, mountains, ancient buildings, the bridge and skyscrapers blend into one iconic night view of Chongqing.
  3. Raffles City Mall Chongqing
    Pass by
Raffles City Chongqing stands at Chaotianmen where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers converge, nicknamed "Sails Facing the Sky". Eight high-rises look like giant ship sails with a huge crystal sky corridor linking towers high above. Lit up at night, its glowing lights reflect on river water. A comprehensive complex with malls, offices and hotels, it forms Chongqing’s iconic riverside skyline when viewed from cruise ships.
  4. Chaotianmen Yangtze Grand Bridge
    Pass by
Spanning the Yangtze River, Chaotianmen Bridge is a world-famous large-span steel arch bridge with double decks for vehicles and light rail. Its huge red arch glimmers with colorful lights after dark, whose reflections ripple on the river. Framed by Raffles City and the river confluence, it forms a spectacular landmark night view seen from cruise ships.
  5. LongMenHao ShangYeJie (SenLin LongMen HaoYue Nan)
    40m · Admission ticket included
Longmenhao Old Street sits on the south bank of the Yangtze River, right across from downtown Yuzhong Peninsula.
Walk along its stone stairs, you’ll find a perfect viewing platform: you can see the Yangtze River Cableway, Dongshuimen Bridge, light rail trains, Raffles City and the whole skyline of Yuzhong at once. It mixes century-old Sino-Western architecture, river views and modern city scenery, quieter and more cinematic than Hongyadong.
  6. Nanbin Road
    Pass by
There is a leisure footpath along the riverside of Nanbin Road. It offers a perfect vantage point to overlook the panoramic views of Yuzhong District, Raffles City, Hongya Cave and the Grand Theatre in Jiangbeizui. In the evening when the sun sets or when all the city lights are on at night, the river surface sparkles brightly. There are often light shows on Saturdays. And the whole area is open to the public for free.
  7. Nanbin Road Zhonglou
    Pass by
The riverside square of the Clock Tower on Nanbin Road has a broad view. It faces directly the confluence of the two rivers, Raffles City at Chaotianmen, and the Grand Theatre in Jiangbeizui. The arch-shaped shooting spot offers an extremely high probability of getting excellent photos of the night view of Yuzhong District. When the warm lights are lit up in the evening, the atmosphere is extremely strong.
