Overview

Begin your journey by exploring the charming, narrow streets of Funchal’s Old Town (Zona Velha). Learn about the city from your guide, who grew up in the area.

Next, drive up to the Pináculo Viewpoint for one of the most stunning panoramic views over the Funchal bay. Head to the coast to visit the iconic Cristo Rei statue in Garajau, standing on a beautiful cliff with endless ocean views.

After taking in the sea breeze, completely change the scenery. Drive up to the mountains through Caminho dos Pretos, a peaceful and scenic road surrounded by Madeira’s famous green nature.

Finally, stop at the historic sanctuary of Terreiro da Luta, where you will visit the beautiful monument of Nossa Senhora da Paz, nestled quietly in the mountains above the city.
