Colosseum
1h · Admission ticket included

All tour options begin inside the iconic Colosseum with priority access to bypass the long queues. Together with your licensed expert guide, ascend to the 1st and 2nd tiers to admire the vast interior structure, ancient marble seating levels, and sweeping views down into the chambers where gladiators and wild animals awaited their fate.

Classic Full Access Guests: Explore the main public tiers and learn about the groundbreaking architecture, Roman imperial politics, and 50,000-spectator crowd control systems.

Arena Option Guests: Enter through a special, restricted VIP entrance gate directly onto the reconstructed Gladiator’s Arena Floor. Enjoy an extraordinary 360-degree gladiator’s perspective looking up at the surrounding tier seating and directly down into the exposed underground maze below.

Express Tour Option Guests: Your intensive, high-impact guided tour concludes here inside the Colosseum after 1 hour of rich historical commentary, leaving you free to explore independently.
Palatine Hill
45m · Admission ticket included

Leaving the amphitheater, follow your expert guide up the green, pine-shaded slopes of the Palatine Hill, the most famous of Rome’s Seven Hills. According to ancient legend, this is the exact site where Romulus founded Rome in 753 BC. As the most exclusive neighborhood of antiquity, it later became the playground of emperors and wealthy aristocrats.

Walk through the monumental ruins of imperial residential complexes, including the sprawling Domus Augustana, the official state rooms of the Domus Flavia, and the Palace of Emperor Septimius Severus. Along the way, take in breathtaking elevated views overlooking the Circus Maximus on one side and the sweeping archaeological park on the other.
Roman Forum
45m · Admission ticket included

Descend from the Palatine Hill directly into the valley of the Roman Forum, the bustling political, commercial, and religious heart of the ancient empire. Walk along the historic Via Sacra (Sacred Way), the main street where triumphant Roman generals marched after victorious campaigns.

Stand before iconic monuments that shaped Western civilization: admire the intricate marble reliefs on the Arch of Titus and the monumental Arch of Septimius Severus, visit the Temple of Julius Caesar where the dictator was cremated, and view the preserved House of the Vestal Virgins. Your 3-hour Ancient Rome journey concludes outside the remarkably intact Curia Julia (Roman Senate House), where senators once gathered to pass laws and govern the known world.
