As an iconic building in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl stands in the core of Lujiazui Financial District with its unique "big ball set with small balls" shape. Climb to the observation deck, and you can have a 360° bird's-eye view of the whole city of Shanghai. On one side are the century-old architectural complex of the Bund, on the other side are the skyscraper cluster of Lujiazui, and under your feet is the surging Huangpu River, allowing you to have a full view of Shanghai's modern edge and urban pattern.
