What to expect

Begin at Lady Papavero’s atelier-boutique, where you’ll discover our contemporary approach to Lecce’s centuries-old papier-mâché tradition and create your own ring or brooch by hand. The experience then continues with a guided walk through the historic centre to discover the history, techniques and importance of cartapesta, Lecce’s traditional papier-mâché, before returning to the atelier for the final decorative touches.
