Your overnight escape begins with pickup between 7:45 and 8:00 AM from Hanoi’s Old Quarter if you have booked the transfer service. Guests staying outside the pickup area can make their way to the designated meeting point, with details provided before departure. Settle into the journey toward the coast and watch Hanoi’s lively neighborhoods gradually give way to the countryside. This morning drive offers a gentle transition from the city’s busy rhythm to the slower pace of life on the water. Arrive at the cruise reception at Dock 36, Tuan Chau, around noon, where the team will assist with check-in before boarding arrangements begin. Keep your camera and essential belongings close as your bay adventure draws nearer. With the road journey behind you and the marina ahead, prepare to exchange traffic and city streets for open views, fresh sea air, and a night aboard Doria Cruise. Guests who have not booked transfers should travel directly to the marina for the scheduled check-in.

Ha Long Bay Cruise & Buffet lunch

Leave the dock around 12:30–12:45 PM & begin your passage into the remarkable seascape of Ha Long Bay. Find a comfortable spot onboard as limestone islands rise from the water & the shoreline slowly slips from view. The journey itself becomes part of the experience: changing perspectives reveal rocky silhouettes, stretches of open water & quieter corners that invite you to pause and take it all in. Around 1:45 PM, head to the restaurant for a buffet lunch, pairing your first onboard meal with the scenery passing outside. Take your time enjoying lunch & settling into the relaxed rhythm of the cruise as the vessel continues toward Lan Ha Bay. After the meal, check into your cabin around 2:30 PM & enjoy a short rest before the afternoon activities. Whether you choose to unpack, freshen up, or return to the deck for photographs, this is your chance to make yourself at home & appreciate the pleasure of having the bay as your backdrop for the next two day
3. Lang chai Tra Bau
   2h · Admission ticket included
The afternoon brings time to experience the bay at your own pace, with activities scheduled between approximately 3:15 and 5:00 PM. If you choose kayaking, meet the team promptly for the tender transfer to the Tra Bau kayaking area. Paddle across the sheltered waters and enjoy a closer perspective of the surrounding limestone scenery, with time to appreciate details that can be easy to miss from the larger vessel. After kayaking, return to Doria Cruise, where you can enjoy swimming when conditions allow. Guests who prefer a more leisurely afternoon can choose swimming from the cruise or relax in the Jacuzzi at the front of the third deck. The sundeck also offers space to sunbathe and admire the views without joining the water activities. Life jackets and towels are provided at reception, and the meeting point is at the back of Deck 2. As only one tender is available for the kayaking transfer, arriving on time helps you make the most of this refreshing afternoon on the bay
4. Lan Ha Bay
   4h · Admission ticket included
As the afternoon softens into evening, return to the deck for a sunset party from approximately 5:30 to 6:45 PM. Enjoy complimentary tea, fruit, cakes, and peanuts while watching the changing light across the bay. Join the cooking demonstration for a taste of the onboard culinary experience, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere as fellow travelers gather to share their favorite moments of the day. At 7:00 PM, a set-menu dinner brings everyone together in the restaurant for an unhurried evening meal. From around 8:15 PM, choose how you would like to spend the rest of your night. Try squid fishing, unwind in the Jacuzzi, or request karaoke with the restaurant team after dinner. If you prefer a quieter evening, find a comfortable place to sit and appreciate the peaceful surroundings. An onboard happy-hour promotion is scheduled from 9:00 to 10:30 PM, with drinks charged separately. Finally, retreat to your cabin for an overnight stay aboard Doria Cruise.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Dark & Bright Cave - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

1. Lan Ha Bay
   1h 30m · Admission ticket included
Wake to a gentler morning surrounded by the scenery of Lan Ha Bay. At approximately 6:15 AM, make your way to the sundeck for a Tai Chi session, where slow movements and measured breathing offer a peaceful start to the day. With fresh air around you and limestone formations on the horizon, this early activity is a chance to enjoy the bay before the morning excursion begins. Participation is optional, so guests who prefer a little more sleep can enjoy a leisurely start in their cabins. From 7:00 to 7:45 AM, a buffet breakfast is served, with offerings such as eggs, cake, and coffee. Take a seat, enjoy the views, and prepare for the visit to the Dark & Bright Cave area. Guests joining the excursion should finish breakfast in time for the scheduled 7:50 AM departure. Those staying onboard can take breakfast more slowly and enjoy additional time to relax. Whether you begin with Tai Chi or a quiet cup of coffee, the morning invites you to savor your final hours on the water.
2. Dark and Bright Cave
   45m · Admission ticket included
At about 7:50 AM, board the tender for the journey to the Dark & Bright Cave area, one of the morning’s most memorable experiences. Here, change to a traditional rowing boat operated by local people & let your rower guide you through the surrounding waters. Without the need to paddle, you can give your full attention to the limestone scenery, shifting reflections & natural features along the route. The slower pace makes this a lovely complement to the previous afternoon’s kayaking, offering another way to appreciate the bay from close to the water. Keep your camera ready, but also take a moment to enjoy the sounds & atmosphere around you. Access inside Bright Cave depends on tidal conditions & low water levels may prevent boats from entering. The visit therefore follows the route available on the day. Please arrive promptly for the tender departure, as the excursion operates to a fixed schedule. After the rowing-boat experience, return to Doria Cruise for the final part of your voyage
3. Hạ Long Bay
   2h
Back onboard, enjoy the closing stretch of your cruise as the vessel makes its way toward Tuan Chau. This is a final opportunity to admire the bay from the deck, capture photographs & appreciate how different the scenery feels in the morning light. Around 10:00 AM, check out of your cabin, place your luggage outside the door in the hallway as instructed & return your room key to reception. Keep passports, valuables, and other important belongings with you. At approximately 10:15 AM, head to the restaurant for an early lunch and enjoy one last meal aboard Doria Cruise. Any outstanding bar bills can be settled at this time. With the morning excursion complete, there is time to reflect on your favorite experiences, from paddling in Tra Bau to relaxing at sunset and waking on the bay. Around 11:15 AM, leave the main cruise vessel and board the transfer boat for the return to shore. Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina is expected at approximately 12:10 PM, bringing your overnight voyage to a close
4. Hanoi
   3h
After arriving at Tuan Chau Marina, collect your belongings & prepare for the journey back to Hanoi if you have booked the return transfer service. Settle in for the drive & enjoy a comfortable transition from the waterfront to the capital, carrying memories of limestone islands, sunset views & a night spent on the bay. The return journey gives you time to rest after the early morning activities, look through your photographs, or simply watch the scenery change outside. Drop-off is expected between approximately 3:30 & 4:00 PM at your address in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or at the designated meeting point, depending on the transfer arrangements. Guests without the transfer service finish their tour at Tuan Chau Marina & continue independently. Keep essential items with you during the journey and check that you have collected all luggage before leaving the vehicle. You will return to Hanoi with the evening ahead of you & a collection of memorable moments from your 2 Day Ha Long & Lan Ha Bay
