What to expect

Day 1: Arusha to tarangire National Park

    Your private safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your English-speaking professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2–3 hour drive from Arusha.

    Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive. Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds, giant baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and abundant wildlife. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and many species of birds.

    Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park surrounded by the beautiful African landscape, followed by an afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, leave the park and continue to The hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

    After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

    The crater is one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other wildlife. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.

Day 3: Karatu to Lake Eyasi and Departure

    After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and fascinating destination known for its authentic cultural experiences and beautiful landscapes. The journey takes you through rural Tanzania, offering a glimpse into traditional village life.

    Upon arrival, visit the Hadzabe community, one of Tanzania’s indigenous peoples. Experience their traditional way of life, learn about their hunting and gathering traditions, and, depending on the day and local arrangements, observe traditional hunting techniques and the use of bows and arrows.

    Continue with a visit to the Datoga community, known for their traditional blacksmithing skills and craftsmanship. You will have the opportunity to learn about their culture, daily activities, and traditional metalwork.

    After this memorable cultural experience, enjoy a relaxed drive back toward Arusha, with a stop for lunch along the way. You will then be transferred to Arusha Airport for your departure flight.
