Overview

This Lefkada walking tour is a slow, immersive experience designed for travelers who want more than just a simple walk. As we explore the narrow streets, quiet squares, and historic neighborhoods of Lefkada Old Town, stories unfold naturally — revealing the island’s rich and layered past.

From Venetian and Ottoman influences to British rule, Lefkada has been shaped by different civilizations over the centuries. During the tour, you will learn how these influences transformed not only the history of the island but also its distinctive architecture.

Along the way, we also discover Lefkada’s deep connection to literature and intellectual life. The island has inspired and hosted important figures of Greek and international culture, such as Aristotelis Valaoritis, Angelos Sikelianos, and Lefkadio Hern.

This is not just a sightseeing walk, but a cultural and historical experience that helps you understand Lefkada beyond the surface.
