What to expect
Day 1: Leuser Ethical Jungle Trek

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel or airport in Medan. Travel approximately 4 hours to Bukit Lawang, located at the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.
Meet your jungle guide and begin trekking through the rainforest. Along the way, you may encounter:
Sumatran orangutans
Thomas leaf monkeys
Tropical birds
Unique rainforest plants
Continue trekking deeper into the jungle until reaching the campsite near the river.
In the evening:

After the trek, enjoy traditional river tubing along the Bohorok River to return to Bukit Lawang village.
