Our Garganta do Céu Hike takes you through one of the city’s most impressive natural areas, combining Atlantic Forest trails, scenic viewpoints and incredible landscapes overlooking the ocean, mountains and coastline.
This experience is ideal for participants who enjoy moderate to intense hikes and want to explore Rio in an active and authentic way, fully connected with nature.
What will we do?
We’ll meet at a designated meeting point and head to the beginning of the trail.
During the experience:
• Hike through trails in the Atlantic Forest
• Stops at panoramic viewpoints
• Visit to the famous Garganta do Céu viewpoint
• Time for photos, rest and contemplation
• Exploration of Rio’s natural landscapes and rock formations
Throughout the hike, you’ll experience incredible views of forests, mountains, coastline and some of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic scenery.

This experience involves moderate to intense physical activity and is recommended for participants comfortable with long hikes and elevation gain.
