Overview

Leave Paris behind for a private full-day tour of the Champagne region with your own English- and French-speaking driver-guide. After pickup from your Paris hotel or apartment, drive to Reims to see the Gothic cathedral where French kings were crowned, then continue to Épernay for a guided cellar tour and tasting at Moët & Chandon, led by a house guide and included in the price. Stroll along the Avenue de Champagne, then finish in Hautvillers, the hilltop village where Dom Pérignon is buried.

Throughout the drive your driver-guide shares the history of the region, explains how the Champagne houses differ, and helps you choose where to spend more time. Drivers do not enter the cellars, but will brief you before each visit. The order of stops can be adapted to your preferences, and houses may be substituted depending on availability.
