In the Main Hall - an area generally off-limits to the public -experience a special morning prayer ceremony consisting of drums, chanting, and spiritual tools.
After the ceremony, watch as the sky brightens with morning light from the shrine’s extraordinary viewpoint that overlooks the sea.

After, you will be led to the Great Hall - a space typically off-limits - where a special morning prayer ceremony will take place. Listen to the sounds of the drum and the chanting of the priest in this stirring experience.
After the ceremony, watch as the sky brightens with morning light from the shrine’s extraordinary viewpoint that overlooks the sea. This is a unique opportunity to connect with oneself and soak in the refreshing atmosphere as dawn breaks over the water below. As this is an early morning program, we recommend staying overnight in the Shikanoshima/Saitozaki areas.
