Originally built in 1725 during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, near the Confucius Temple by Fuzichi, it was a sacred place for scholars to pray for literary fortune. However, it was demolished in 1953 due to dilapidation. In the 1990s, during the renovation of the Linjiangmen area, it was relocated and expanded to its current site.
What makes Kuixing Tower truly fascinating is its magical terrain. The ground - floor plaza and the plaza on the 22nd floor are connected, creating an optical illusion where you think you are on the 1st floor, but in fact, you are on the 22nd floor. The suspended bridge between the two high - rise buildings, about 65 meters above the ground, offers a stunning view of the Jialing River and the cityscape. It was also a filming location for the movie Better Days, which has attracted many fans to check in.
