What to expect
Day 1: Zagora → Erg Chigaga

Depart from Zagora around 14:00, traveling toward M’Hamid via Tizi Anagame and Ben Selmane. From there, begin an exciting off-road drive of approximately two hours, crossing remote desert terrain to reach the spectacular dunes of Erg Chigaga.
On arrival, enjoy a camel ride at sunset, followed by traditional mint tea and dinner served in a nomadic Berber tent. Experience the peaceful atmosphere of the desert as night falls. Depending on your preference, spend the night in a comfortable Berber tent or sleep under the stars on the dunes.
Day 2: Erg Chigaga → Zagora

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, one of the most memorable moments of the Sahara. After breakfast, begin the return journey toward Zagora via a different off-road route through the Draa Valley.
Along the way, stop to visit the historic Koranic Library in Tamagroute, known for its ancient manuscripts. Arrival back in Zagora around noon.
