1. Kakum National Park
   2h · Admission ticket included
Upon arrival, you’ll take a short 15 minute guided forest hike through lush tropical vegetation. The trail includes a few gentle uphill and rocky sections, but it’s manageable for most visitors and offers great views of the rainforest floor.

At the top of the trail, you’ll step onto the iconic Kakum Canopy Walkway, a series of suspended bridges hanging high above the forest. The walkway is safe, well-maintained, slightly wobbly, and designed to give you a thrilling but secure experience. From up here, travelers enjoy panoramic views of the treetops, unique photo opportunities, and the chance to spot birds and wildlife.

Your guide will share insights about the ecosystem, trees, birds, and conservation efforts, making this a perfect mix of adventure and nature.
2. Cape Coast Castle
   2h · Admission ticket included
Explore Cape Coast Castle, one of the most important historical sites linked to the Transatlantic Slave Trade. With a certified castle guide, travelers walk through the male and female slave dungeons, where thousands of Africans were held before being shipped to the Americas and the Caribbean.

You will visit the Door of No Return, a symbolic exit through which enslaved people passed onto waiting ships. Today, the site also includes the Door of Return, created to honor the African diaspora and welcome descendants back home.

The tour continues through the governor’s quarters, the courtyard, and the old graveyard, offering a deeper understanding of colonial history, architecture, and daily life inside the fort. The experience is powerful, educational, and emotional, giving travelers a clear picture of how the castle functioned during the slave trade era.
3. Elmina lagoon
   1h · Admission ticket included
Travelers explore Elmina’s vibrant fishing community through a guided speed-boat tour that begins on the lagoon and continues onto the open sea. On the lagoon, guests learn about the daily rhythm of the fishing community, how the women handle the selling and processing, while the men go out to fish. Guides explain the meaning of the colorful flags on each canoe, the traditional festivals connected to the fishing culture, and how the community preserves its heritage. The ride then heads out toward the sea for beautiful views of Elmina Castle, the coastline, and the bustling harbor. It’s a cultural, educational, and scenic experience in one.
