What to expect

    Pickup from your accommodation in Cusco at approximately 4:30 AM. Travel by vehicle to the community of Pacchanta (4,400 m / 14,435 ft), where breakfast is served before the hike begins.

    Begin the hike through the Ausangate region, following mountain trails toward the 7 Lakes of Ausangate and the Ausangate viewpoint (4,800 m / 15,748 ft). Along the route, observe the glacial lakes, surrounding mountain landscapes, and native wildlife. After visiting the viewpoint, return to Pacchanta.
  3. Pass by
    Enjoy lunch in Pacchanta. Afterward, travelers may choose to visit the Pacchanta hot springs (optional; entrance fee not included unless specified) before preparing for the return journey.
  4. Cusco

    Depart Pacchanta and travel by vehicle back to Cusco. Arrival is expected at approximately 6:30 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions.
