What to expect

  1. Maras
    1h
Located about 40 km from Cusco, the picturesque village of Maras is famous for its stunning Salt Mines (Salineras) — a network of more than 3,000 natural salt pools that have been used since Inca times. Fed by a subterranean spring rich in minerals, these pools create a breathtaking display of white, ocher, and pink hues that shimmer under the Andean sun.

Visitors can learn about the traditional salt-harvesting process, observe the daily work of local families, and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

The Maras Salt Mines are a must-see for photography lovers, history enthusiasts, and nature seekers, offering a perfect combination of breathtaking scenery and living tradition that has endured for centuries.
  2. Maras Moray Tours
1m · Admission ticket not included
Located about 38 km from Cusco, Moray is one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley. Known as the Inca agricultural laboratory, this complex features impressive circular terraces built in natural depressions of the land.

Each level of these terraces creates a unique microclimate, allowing the Incas to experiment with different crops and adapt plants to various altitudes. This ingenious system reflects the advanced agricultural and scientific knowledge achieved by the Inca civilization.

Beyond its historical value, Moray offers breathtaking panoramic views surrounded by mountains and open skies — an ideal place to connect with nature and the ancestral energy of the Andes.
