At SHOGUN STUDIO JAPAN, you will wear high-quality iron armor made by professional craftsmen who also create armor for Japanese movies and TV dramas. Each set is beautifully maintained and designed to give you an authentic samurai experience.
After dressing in armor, enter a traditional Japanese tea room and choose one of two experiences:
TEA CEREMONY
Enjoy an authentic tea ceremony guided by a professional Kyoto tea instructor trained in the Urasenke or Omotesenke tradition.
MATCHA MAKING EXPERIENCE
Learn how to use a traditional bamboo whisk and prepare your own bowl of matcha.
Both experiences include a traditional Japanese sweet from Sasaya Iori, a historic Kyoto confectionery established over 300 years ago.
A professional photographer will capture your experience, and you will receive 5 professionally photographed images per person.
The experience takes place inside the comfortable, air-conditioned Hotel Emion Kyoto.
