Day 1: Explore the Berber villages of Chenini

   Begin your adventure with a convenient hotel pickup in Djerba. Head to Tataouine, stopping first at the salt lake of Chahbania.
2. Ksar Ouled Soltane

   then Continue toward the legendary region of Tataouine to visit Ksar Ouled Soltane, one of Tunisia’s best-preserved fortified granaries. With its stacked ghorfas and authentic architecture, this remarkable ksar is also famous as a Star Wars filming location.
3. Chenini Berber Village

   after that we go to Chenini is an ancient Berber village in southern Tunisia, famous for its unique architecture carved into the rock, traditional cave-like homes, and a prominent white mosque connecting the peaks, offering a glimpse into centuries-old Berber life
   
   as well the place where we will have local lunch before we continue our journey to ksar ghilane
4. Ksar Ghilane

   after the lunch heading to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where the greenery of palm trees meets the ocher color of sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see.
   
   Take your time to swim in the hot water spring nestled in the middle of the oasis. Optional activities for a camel ride or quad on the sand dunes (extra cost).
5. Ksar Ghilane

   Head to your camp and settle into your private Berber tent.
   Assist in the preparation of sand bread, baked under sand and embers in the Bedouin way. Enjoy your dinner under a starry sky and attend a Bedouin musical evening. Spend the night in your tent.

Day 2: Troglodyte Villages & Star Wars Film Locations

1. Tamezret

   Wake up and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Berber village of Tamazret for a photo stop. Visit a troglodyte house, dug underground, and meet a Berber family who lives there. Enjoy a cup of tea with homemade bread, honey, and olive oil, and thank your hosts before leaving.

   then we visit Matmata is a unique Berber village in southern Tunisia, famous for its troglodyte dwellings—underground homes dug into the earth with sunken courtyards and adjoining cave rooms, ingeniously built by locals to escape extreme heat and winds

   Visit the Sidi Idriss troglodyte hotel, which served as a Star Wars filming location for the inside scenes of Lars Homestead. Enjoy a midday lunch before continuing to the Berber village of Toujane for a stop offering a unique panoramic view.
4. Toujane

   Toujane is a historic Berber mountain village in southern Tunisia, known for its unique red mud-brick and stone houses built into the hillsides, offering a glimpse into traditional Berber life
   
   then we return to Djerba via the Roman road
