What to expect

  1. Castelvecchio
    15m
A symbol of the power of the Della Scala family, Castelvecchio is an imposing medieval fortress overlooking the Adige River. With its famous red brick Ponte Scaligero bridge, it offers one of the most evocative views of Verona. Today it houses an art museum with Renaissance and Gothic works, while the perfectly restored bridge offers a timeless atmosphere.
  2. Arco dei Gavi
    15m
This ancient Roman arch, dedicated to the noble Gavia family, is a masterpiece of engineering and classical harmony. Located next to Castelvecchio, it once marked the entrance to the city for those arriving from Via Postumia. Its elegant lines and Latin inscriptions tell the story of ancient Verona, witness to over two thousand years of history.
  3. Arena di Verona
    Pass by
The beating heart of the city, Piazza Bra welcomes visitors with its spacious, elegant setting and historic cafés. Dominating the square is the Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, now famous for its summer opera season. Hosting unique concerts and shows, it is the undisputed symbol of Verona and one of Italy's most iconic landmarks.
  4. Porta Borsari - World Heritage Site
    15m
An ancient monumental gateway to Roman Verona, Porta Borsari dates back to the 1st century AD and still preserves its white Valpolicella stone façade, decorated with inscriptions and Corinthian columns. Passing through it is like taking a step back in time, imagining the city when it was a lively hub of the Roman Empire.
  5. Piazza delle Erbe
    15m
An ancient Roman forum, today Piazza delle Erbe is the lively heart of Veronese life. Surrounded by frescoed buildings, medieval towers and colourful stalls, it is a place where art, scents and history intertwine. Here you will find the Lamberti Tower, the Madonna Verona fountain and the best views for experiencing the city like a true local.
  6. Casa di Giulietta
    Pass by
Perhaps the most romantic place in Italy, Juliet's House is a must-see for anyone visiting Verona. In its courtyard, the famous balcony evokes the most famous love scene in literature.
