Musandam Governorate

Musandam Governorate is a mountainous region located on the Omani peninsula, extending into the Strait of Hormuz. This area is separated from the remainder of the country by the United Arab Emirates. Its rugged coastline boasts fjord-like inlets known as khors, and the surrounding waters are inhabited by dolphins and various marine species. Dhow cruises are a favored activity.
