More than a cooking class, this is Gaby’s Signature Cultural & Culinary Experience, guided by Chef Julio, a native Puerto Vallarta chef. Discover the city through its food, history and traditions as you explore local streets and visit a market to learn about fresh Mexican ingredients. Then return to Gaby’s in our Van then cooking in our open-air rooftop kitchen, with city and Pacific Ocean views, for a hands-on cooking experience using family recipes passed down through generations. 1. Meet & Greet
Meet Chef Julio at his family-owned restaurant in historic Downtown Puerto Vallarta, just steps from the Malecón.

2. Walking & Local Market Tour
Walk through Downtown and Old Town to a traditional local market. Meet local vendors and discover fresh produce, chiles, spices, tortillas, meats and ingredients used in authentic Mexican cooking.

3. Comfortable Van Ride
After exploring the market, relax and cool down with a comfortable air-conditioned van ride back to the cooking venue.

4. Hands-On Mexican Cooking
Cook on our rooftop terrace with beautiful city, ocean and cathedral views. Prepare traditional dishes, fresh salsas and handmade tortillas step-by-step using family recipes and local ingredients.
