Your tour guide will take you to the less crowded section of the Great Wall, where you can hike for about 2 hours. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from the city to the Great Wall. You will take the cable car halfway and then start enjoying the hiking trip. Then, you will also take a cable car on your way back. This can undoubtedly save you time and energy.
