Weather permitting, we'll also do outdoor wine tastings with local snacks (think cold cuts and cheese)

All our tours are private and can acomodate 2 to 100 passengers

Get ready to see a lot of vineyards and learn about them? what are the different grapes? how are they harvested? what are the main challenges around making wine?

In the summer, we have a "soft top" that allows to feel the breeze; we replace it by a "hard top" when it gets colder.

Some wine makers are art collectors, it's a fine combination and we can show you some art too.

The winemakers of the area have been here for generations and we'll get to see the inside pf their estate as the area is not very touristic, all of this is still fairly casual and friendly

Overview

Spend a full day exploring Southern Burgundy aboard a vintage Land Rover with a passionate local Insider.

Your tour starts in Lyon, with train tickets provided or private transfer depending on option chosen.
(If you're already in Burgundy, we'll meet in Mâcon directly.)
Once in Burgundy, you'll follow scenic backroads to hidden vineyards and lesser-known spots only locals know.

Enjoy at least four wine tasting stops — a mix of small producers, cooperatives, or even tastings right in the middle of the vines.

One of the highlights of the tour is a visit to Philippe’s home, a former winemaker turned druid with a remarkable private wine cellar.

Depending on your interests, your Insider may guide you to a hilltop chapel, medieval ruins, or a unique goat cheese farm in a former Cluniac priory and Celtic site — where the cheese is only sold on-site.
