What to expect
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Suricata Boma Lodge
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2.5 hour drive. Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive, exploring the beautiful landscapes famous for large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, giraffes, zebras, lions, and other wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, exit Tarangire and drive to Suricata Boma Lodge, located in the Mto wa Mbu area, for dinner and overnight accommodation.
After breakfast, depart from Suricata Boma Lodge and drive towards Central Serengeti. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to enjoy wildlife sightings along the way.
Upon entering Serengeti National Park, begin your game drive towards the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley). This area is famous for its abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive and continue exploring the Serengeti in the afternoon. Later, proceed to Sightseeing Luxury Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, begin your morning game drive in Central Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. Continue exploring the Seronera area, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch en route, then continue with an afternoon game drive as you make your way out of Serengeti. Proceed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the Ngorongoro Gate before continuing to Karatu.
Arrive at Mvuli Ngorongoro Mountain Lodge in the evening, where you will check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
After an early breakfast, depart from the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting morning game drive. Descend into the crater, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife areas, and explore its diverse habitats.
During the game drive, look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and other wildlife. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing with the game drive. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening around 5:00 pm.
