Chiang Mai ATV Adventure with Waterfall Visit and Bamboo Rafting

Swap Chiang Mai’s city streets for a countryside adventure combining off-road ATV riding, Mae Wang Waterfall, and bamboo rafting along the Mae Wang River. After a safety briefing, fire up the engine and take on rural tracks and rougher off-road stretches on a 1-hour ATV ride with a guide accompanying you. The ride brings a burst of excitement as you explore Chiang Mai’s countryside.

Once the engine goes quiet, continue to Mae Wang Waterfall and pause with tea and a snack. It is a welcome breather after the ride, giving you time to recharge before the adventure changes character completely.

Next, climb aboard a traditional bamboo raft for a 30–45-minute ride along the Mae Wang River, trading engine noise and dusty trails for flowing water and riverside scenery. Sit back and take in the quieter surroundings as the raft moves downstream. Afterward, sit down to a local meal.

Round-trip transfers from Chiang Mai, safety gear, and essential equipment are included, so you can focus on the experience. From off-road trails to a peaceful ride along the river, discover two different sides of Chiang Mai’s countryside in one day.

Pickup details

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for hotels within the Chiang Mai city area. Pickup is between 8:00–8:30 AM for the morning tour and 12:00–12:30 PM for the afternoon tour, depending on your selected departure time.

The exact pickup time will be confirmed by email. Please check your email before departure.

Please meet the driver in your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

Guests arriving late after the pickup vehicle has departed may be considered a no-show.

• Children aged 4–14 years may participate as passengers only and must ride on the same ATV with a driver aged 15 or older from their booking.
• Drivers must be at least 15 years old and able to control the ATV safely.
• For the Solo ATV option, each traveler selected means 1 ATV for 1 solo driver.
• For the ATV Driver & Passenger option, each traveler selected means 1 ATV for up to 2 people, with 1 driver and 1 passenger. The passenger is already included in the option price and does not need to be selected as an additional traveler for the same ATV.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited before and during the activities.
• Participants must be in good physical and mental condition to safely take part in ATV riding and rafting.
• This activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers, guests with serious medical conditions, mobility issues, back problems, or neck problems.
• The schedule or route may be adjusted for safety reasons depending on weather, trail, or operating conditions.
• During the tour, riders must strictly follow the guide or instructor. The tour operator reserves the right to stop any risky riding with no refund.
• Vegan and vegetarian meal options are available upon advance request. Please inform us of your dietary preference before the tour.
• Hotel pickup times may vary slightly due to traffic or unforeseen delays.
• On the rare occasion that the tour is canceled by the operator, you will be informed in advance and offered a different tour date, an alternative tour, or a full refund.
