What to expect

Experience the art of Thai cooking in a serene, traditional setting at Lanta Thai Cookery School on Koh Lanta. This hands-on class invites you to cook 4 authentic Thai dishes of your choice—Chicken, Beef, Seafood, or Vegetarian—with guidance from a friendly local chef. Set in a charming teakwood house with an open-air kitchen, it’s a great way to explore Thai culture and enjoy food you make yourself.

Choose from three options: Lunch or Dinner Class, focused on cooking your selected dishes, or the Cooking Class with Market Tour—available Thursdays only—which includes a guided visit to a nearby market to shop for fresh ingredients. Each class includes a short garden tour to discover Thai herbs and spices grown on-site. This experience is fun, educational, and open to all ages and skill levels.

After cooking, enjoy your creations in a relaxed tropical setting. You’ll receive printed recipes and a certificate to take home. With round-trip hotel transfers included, this is the perfect cultural escape from the beach—and a memorable highlight of your time in Koh Lanta.

Pickup details

Pickup is available from most hotel locations in Koh Lanta. An extra fee may apply for certain areas and will be confirmed upon booking. For the Lunch Cooking Class and Cooking Class and Market Tour : Morning, pickup time is between 09:00 AM – 09:30 AM. For the Dinner Cooking Class and Cooking Class and Market Tour : Evening, pickup time is between 03:00 PM – 03:30 PM. The exact pickup time will be confirmed via email.
Please make sure to recheck your email prior to the pickup.
Kindly be at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the confirmed pickup time.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late or after the driver has departed may be considered a no-show
