Vintage shops, Japanese streetwear, K-fashion and giant station-side malls: Shinjuku has it all within a few walkable blocks. Akari, a Tokyo stylist with 20 years in fashion, makes it easy.

She trained in couture at ESMOD Paris, spent nearly 10 years as a buyer for Japanese fashion companies, and has styled 8,000+ people. Since 2019 she has run her own image-consulting salon in Tokyo as a certified personal color, face-type and body-type analyst, and she directs her own womenswear label. Her 400+ online styling orders in Japan hold a 5.0 rating.

After booking, a short questionnaire covers your style, sizes, budget and wish list. Akari researches and builds a route just for you: rare vintage, Japanese brands made to last, or the latest Tokyo street looks.

At each stop she explains why a cut or fabric suits your frame, talks to store staff for you, and takes candid photos. No pressure to buy. Private for 1–2 travelers: choose 3, 3.5 or 4.5 hours (couples 3.5+).

3 Hours - 1 Traveler

Duration: 3 hours: A one-on-one session for solo travelers, with a store route planned from your pre-tour questionnaire.

3.5 Hours - 1 or 2 Travelers

Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes: Best for couples and friends: time for stores that suit each person. Solo travelers get a relaxed pace and more stores.

4.5 Hours - 1 or 2 Travelers

Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes: For a full wardrobe refresh: more stores, more time to compare and build complete outfits at an unhurried pace.
