What to expect

Stradun
15m

Stroll down Dubrovnik’s iconic main street, paved with smooth limestone and lined with elegant facades. Once a shallow sea channel, Stradun is now the vibrant heart of the Old City, echoing centuries of history, trade, and daily life.
The Franciscan Church and Monastery
15m · Admission ticket included

Step into serenity at the Franciscan Monastery, home to one of the oldest functioning pharmacies in Europe, dating back to 1317. This peaceful sanctuary offers a glimpse into medieval medicine, stunning Romanesque architecture, and the spiritual life of old Dubrovnik.
Little Onofrio Fountain
10m

Marvel at Onofrio’s Fountain, a 15th-century masterpiece that once brought fresh spring water to the city. With its 16 carved masks and circular design, it’s both a practical marvel of engineering and a symbol of Dubrovnik’s ingenuity and resilience.
Jesuit Staircase
20m

Climb the grand Jesuit Stairs, one of Dubrovnik’s most photogenic spots, often compared to Rome’s Spanish Steps. Built in the 18th century, they lead to the beautiful Jesuit Church of St. Ignatius and have become iconic for their baroque elegance — and their starring role in Game of Thrones.
The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary
10m

Discover the majestic Dubrovnik Cathedral, built on the ruins of older churches with funds from England’s King Richard the Lionheart. This Baroque masterpiece houses priceless artworks and relics, including a treasury that reflects the city’s deep religious and cultural heritage.
Rector's Palace
10m

Step inside the Rector’s Palace, once the seat of power in the Republic of Dubrovnik. This elegant Gothic-Renaissance building tells the story of a city governed by wisdom and diplomacy, where the elected Rector lived and ruled for just one month — to prevent corruption and ensure fairness.
Sponza Palace
10m

Admire the graceful Sponza Palace, a rare survivor of the 1667 earthquake. Blending Gothic and Renaissance styles, it once served as a customs house and center of trade. Today, it stands as a tribute to Dubrovnik’s rich commercial and cultural legacy — and houses the city’s touching memorial to fallen defenders.
