Overview

Explore Luxor's East and West Banks over two private half-day tours, with hotel pickup and drop-off on both days. Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon on day one, then Karnak and Luxor Temple on day two.

Choose transport only, a private Egyptologist, or a package that also includes standard entrance tickets. With a guide, enjoy engaging stories, questions and a pace suited to your group, with photo and comfort breaks. Shopping stops are made only at your request.

Accommodation and meals are not included. Day 1: West Bank: Kings, Hatshepsut & Memnon - Half-Day

Tomb of Ramses III

Part of an approximately two-hour visit to the Valley of the Kings. Ramses III is one possible regular tomb; the actual three tombs visited depend on opening and availability that day. With a guide option, hear the historical context and agree a meeting point before independent exploration inside, in line with site rules. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option. Tutankhamun and other special tombs cost extra.
Tomb of Ramases IX

Ramses IX is another possible regular tomb during the same Valley of the Kings visit. Explore its painted burial corridors if open; a different standard tomb may be visited depending on availability. This stop is part of the three regular tombs covered by standard admission, which is included only with the Entry Tickets option.
Tomb of Merenptah

Merenptah is one possible regular tomb within the same Valley of the Kings visit. Entry depends on which tombs are open that day; the actual selection may change. It requires the Valley of the Kings standard admission ticket and is not a free-entry site. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (KV62)

Temple of Hatshepsut

Colossi of Memnon

Standing tall and silent at the entrance to the Theban necropolis, the Colossi of Memnon are two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, each rising over 18 meters high.
These iconic monuments have watched over Luxor’s West Bank for more than 3,400 years and once guarded the entrance to a now-vanished mortuary temple.
Though weathered by time and legend—especially the ancient tales of the "singing statue"—they remain one of Luxor’s most photographed and awe-inspiring landmarks.
Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor

Pass the area of the Tombs of the Nobles, also known as the Valley of the Nobles, along the West Bank route. This is a pass-by only, with no tomb entry included. A separate visit can be discussed in advance and is subject to opening hours, extra time and an agreed additional charge.
Howard Carter House
Pass by

Pass the area of Howard Carter's former home on the West Bank route. This is a pass-by only; entry to the house and museum is not part of the standard itinerary. Any requested visit must be arranged and priced separately in advance.
Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II)
Pass by

Pass the Ramesseum, the mortuary temple of Ramses II, on the West Bank route. This is not an interior temple visit. Entry can be considered as an optional extra, subject to opening hours and an agreed additional charge and schedule.
Temple of Seti I
Pass by

Pass the Temple of Seti I area on the West Bank route. This mortuary temple is separate from Seti I's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. The standard itinerary does not include entering the temple; any requested visit is an optional extra agreed and priced in advance.

Day 2: East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temple - Half-Day

Highlights include the Temple of Amun, the Hypostyle Hall, the sacred lake, the Temple of Ramesses III and the obelisks of Hatshepsut and Thutmose I where accessible. Avenue of Sphinxes

See a section of the ancient processional avenue near the temple entrances and learn about its connection with the Opet festival when a guide is selected. This short stop does not include walking the entire avenue between Karnak and Luxor. Access follows the sites' opening rules and the entrance-ticket option booked.
Luxor Temple

Spend about one hour exploring Luxor Temple, its courtyards, columns and statues. With a guide option, discover the roles of Amenhotep III and Ramses II and the temple's connection with the Opet festival. Allow time for photos and independent exploration. Mummification Museum
Pass by

Pass the Mummification Museum on the Nile Corniche. The standard East Bank visit covers Karnak and Luxor Temple; entry to this museum is not included. If interested, request a separate visit in advance so availability, extra time and the additional cost can be confirmed.

Hotel pickup and return in Luxor are included on both tour days. Enter your accommodation name and exact location when booking. We will confirm the meeting point and pickup time before each day; please be ready in the hotel lobby. Share your interests and preferred walking pace in advance so we can plan the visits. The West Bank and East Bank are visited on separate half-days, with stops scheduled around site opening hours. Airport pickup is not included; airport or train-station pickup can be requested in advance, with any additional charge agreed before arrival.
