Our first major stop is the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a timeless village known for its role in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
We continue toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” then venture through the fragrant Rose Valley and the legendary Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs. By evening, we arrive in Dades Valley where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a charming guesthouse nestled between dramatic red cliffs.
Today, the journey leads us through spectacular canyons and desert towns. After breakfast, we explore Todra Gorge, where steep rock walls rise 300 meters high, making it a paradise for climbers and photographers.
Later, we pass through Erfoud, known for its fossil-rich terrain, and head straight to the gateway of the Sahara—Merzouga. There, you’ll mount your camel for a mesmerizing sunset ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night in a traditional luxury desert camp, complete with Berber music, local cuisine, and a starlit sky a highlight of any merzouga trip from Marrakech.
