Day 1 Itinerary Summary (8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
This tour combines the artistic and bohemian atmosphere of Barranco with the archaeological history of Pachacamac.
Morning: Art and Culture
8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. | Pickup in Miraflores or at an agreed-upon location.
We’ll begin our morning tour with a visit to the Pachacámac Sanctuary. We’ll have time to visit the on-site museum and then continue on to the Pachacámac Archaeological Complex, where we’ll explore some of its temples, pyramids, and palaces. We’ll see the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacámac, the Acllahuasi, and more. The entire site is sacred and is considered part of the mystical axis of the world. Finally, we’ll visit the contemporary or modern part of Lima, specifically the famous traditional and bohemian district of Barranco, where we’ll see the Bridge of Sighs. Return to the hotel in Miraflores.
