Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve

   Pass by
   Arrive at JKIA and meet your safari guide. Drive through scenic plantations to Samburu, known for rare wildlife like Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. After lunch, relax before an afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

   Enjoy an early morning game drive, relax at the lodge, then head out for a 4:00 PM safari. Optional Samburu cultural performance in the evening.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru

1. Lake Nakuru National Park
   Pass by
   Drive to Lake Nakuru via Thomson Falls. Arrive for lunch and explore the flamingo-filled lake and diverse wildlife, including black rhinos and leopards, during a 4:00 PM game drive.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

1. Maasai Mara National Reserve
   Pass by
   Head to Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (July–Oct). Arrive for lunch, then enjoy a 4:00 PM game drive across the savannah.

Day 5: Maasai Mara

1. Maasai Mara National Reserve
   Pass by
   Set out for a full-day game drive to the Mara River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and vast wildlife. Return in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

1. Nairobi
   Pass by
   After breakfast, return to Nairobi, stopping at the Rift Valley Viewpoint. Enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to JKIA for departure.

Pickup details

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be met by our safari guide, who will be holding a sign with the Orienjo logo for easy identification. Once your booking is confirmed, please send us your flight details and full name so our guide can prepare accordingly and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel.

• Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Entry Requirements: Visas are required for certain nationalities. Yellow fever and cholera vaccinations are not mandatory but may be recommended. If traveling from a yellow fever-infected area, a vaccination certificate is required.
• Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, baggage loss, and evacuation is mandatory.
• Health & Vaccinations: No vaccinations are required, but yellow fever proof is needed if arriving from an infected area. Malaria precautions are advised. Consult your doctor about recommended vaccines and medications before travel. Avoid swimming in stagnant water to prevent Bilharzia.
• Water Safety: Drink only bottled or filtered water. Avoid tap water, ice, and raw vegetables in remote areas.
• Security & Safety: Take standard precautions: avoid carrying large sums of cash, keep valuables in hotel safes, avoid walking alone at night, and be mindful when taking photos, especially near government or military buildings.
