Overview

This small-group 3.5-hour walking tour follows a route from the Gothic Quarter through El Born to the old fishermen’s quarter of Barceloneta.

Your local guide leads you to five handpicked stops for six tastings and three drinks, which adds up to a full lunch or dinner. Expect a few firsts: wine drinking from a long-spouted glass jug, a Basque counter where you choose your own bite, and a seafood feast in Barceloneta’s oldest house. Between stops, you’ll walk the medieval street of the dyers and tanners and hear why a Gothic church keeps a shrine to FC Barcelona.

With 12 guests at most, there’s room for questions and plenty of tips on where to eat for the rest of your trip. Vegetarian and gluten-free guests are well looked after; just share your needs when you book.
