Overview
This tour is for bird lovers, birdwatchers and for those who just want to be amazed by nature. Let’s just start by saying that Colombia has greatest avian biodiversity in the world. Well, 20% of all bird species on earth can be found here, that is exactly 1,889 species. Besides, you must also count the 197 species of migratory birds as temporary residents. What we love about this place is that it doesn’t feel like a zoo. Many kinds of birds are actually free and large-scale walk-in cages allow close contact with the birds. This makes the aviary unique.
