What to expect

  1. Sigiriya
    2h
Step away from the tourist trails and immerse yourself in the simple, authentic life of a traditional Sri Lankan village. This cultural experience offers you a peaceful and enriching escape into the heart of rural living just a few minutes from Sigiriya Rock.

Your journey begins with a warm local welcome and a bullock cart ride through lush green fields and village roads. As you move at a gentle pace, you’ll witness rice paddies, vegetable gardens, and water reservoirs that sustain the village lifestyle.

Then, hop into a traditional canoe for a short ride across a calm lake surrounded by lotus flowers and tropical birdlife. It’s a quiet, scenic moment you’ll treasure.

Once you arrive in the village, you’ll be guided to a humble mud house where a local family will demonstrate traditional cooking using clay pots and firewood. You’ll learn how to make authentic Sri Lankan dishes like rice and curry, coconut sambol, and roti and of course, you’ll get to taste the food you help prepare
  2. Habarana
    3h
Get ready for an unforgettable wildlife adventure through the untouched beauty of Sri Lanka’s dry zone jungles with our Habarana Safari Experience. Located just a short drive from Sigiriya and Dambulla, Habarana is the gateway to some of the island’s best national parks and elephant habitats.

Your journey begins with a thrilling 4x4 Jeep ride into the heart of nature — where thick forests, open grasslands, and serene lakes come alive with wildlife. Depending on the season and animal movement, you’ll explore Hurulu Eco Park, Minneriya, or Kaudulla National Park, all located within 30 minutes of Habarana.
