Overview

Experience a unique hiking experience by walking through the Mediterranean forest of Tibidabo. I will tell you about its flora, fauna and aromas, and share stories about the Catalan farmhouse we will see along the way and about the iconic temple at the top.

During the 4 km route (300 m elevation), we will enjoy viewpoints with incredible views of Barcelona, the sea and the mountains. Ideal for those looking for nature, fresh air and an active activity near the city.

From the top (512 m) you will have Barcelona at your feet at a glance. We will visit the Temple of the Sacred Heart and walk through the top of the amusement park. You can also climb (€5, not included) to the foot of the Christ for the best panoramic photos.

    10 minutes after the start of the climb, we will pass in front of Vil·la Joana, a historic farmhouse of the 19th century converted into a museum dedicated to the life and work of Jacint Verdaguer, one of the most important poets of Catalan literature. From any metro station in Barcelona, you can reach the S1 or S2 lines of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat and get off at the Baixador de Vallvidrera stop. Once you arrive, climb the stairs or use the elevator to the entrance/exit lockers, and there we will meet.

Travelers can choose to finish the tour at the top of Tibidabo or be accompanied by the guide by public transport to the railway station Peu del Funicular and receive directions on how to return to the city or any public transport point they need.
