4 Day Balang Mountain Zesangla Gongga Sky Garden Sichuan Tour

Day 1: Chengdu – Balang Mountain – Maobuliang Viewing Platform – Siguniang Mountain Shuangqiao Valley Scenic Area

1. Pass by
   The tour departs from the city center (pickup service is provided within the third ring road, with the exact time notified by staff the evening before departure). After entering the Wolong area, we will pass through the Wolong Nature Reserve, the hometown of giant pandas. We will travel along the China Panda Avenue, crossing over Balang Mountain before reaching the viewing platform.

   This is the perfect spot to admire the full view of Mount Siguniang, including its sunrise and sunset. From here, the entire mountain range is in full view, with the four peaks stretching from north to south in a straight line. Among them, the 6,250-meter-high Yaomei Peak stands out as particularly striking.
   Due to its location (a major traffic route), the Cat Nose Ridge Viewing Platform will not be visited during the peak season (July to September) and public holidays, as there will be no stopover. The visit will be canceled during these times.
3. Danba County

   After the tour, the driver will pick everyone up at the entrance of the scenic area, then head to the hotel in Danba County or Rilong Town. The drive to Danba or Bamei takes approximately 2 hours. After dinner, check in to the hotel and rest.

Day 2: Danba / Siguniang Mountain Town – Yala Snow Mountain – Moxi Stone Park – Gunong Village – Tagong – Yuzixi – Xinduqiao

   After breakfast, depart for the Yala Snow Mountain Viewing Platform (the visit will last no less than 10 minutes). From here, you can enjoy a distant view of the snow mountain and take in the panoramic snow-capped scenery.

   Next, head to Moxi Park, with a visit duration of no less than 1 hour. Visitors will need to queue for entry on-site. Moxi Park is known as a world geological wonder and is often referred to as a "foreign planet." It boasts eight spectacular sights, including majestic grasslands, graceful wetlands, magical black stones, unique traditional dwellings, highland flower seas, golden autumn, the White Tower Holy Temple, and stunning sunrises and sunsets.
   The usual route is: enter through the front gate and exit through the back gate. Visitors will queue at the entrance to take the sightseeing bus, which will take them inside the scenic area. You will then walk to explore the core attractions, and afterwards, exit the scenic area on foot. It’s a one-way route, with no backtracking.
   After the tour, the driver will pick everyone up at the exit of the scenic area.
3. Tagong Grassland

   Next, head to Tagong Grassland, located at an altitude of 3,720 meters. Under the sunlight, the grassland gently undulates, with lush vegetation, vibrant wildflowers, and colorful prayer flags scattered throughout. In the distance, the Yala Snow Mountain intermittently appears, adding to the breathtaking beauty of the landscape.

   In the afternoon, head to the Yuzi West Sunset Viewing Spot, with a driving time of approximately 1.5 hours. The 360-degree viewing platform is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Yala Snow Mountain, the Gongga Mountain range, and the sacred Qingrao Mountain all at once.
5. Xinduqiao Town

   After the tour, return to Xinduqiao Town, with a driving time of approximately 1 hour. After dinner, check in to the hotel for the night.

Day 3: Xinduqiao – Jiagenba – Moon Lake – Zesangla Gongga Sky Garden – Xinduqiao

   After breakfast, depart for Shade Town, and then head to Moon Lake. Located on the Sichuan Plateau, this place offers a sense of seclusion, almost like a paradise on Earth — truly a hidden gem!

   In the afternoon, depending on the time, head to Jia Gen Ba. Once you enter the village, you’ll see cows and sheep grazing peacefully, and a wooden bridge spanning the creek. The surroundings are perfect for photography, with horses running freely through the fields. Here, everyone can enjoy some free time to explore, take photos, snap group pictures, or check out popular photo spots.
3. Gongga Mountain

   Next, head to Zesangla Gongga Sky Garden, a must-visit hidden gem in Western Sichuan! Here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Gongga Snow Mountain from the Sky Garden. It’s truly a place that feels like a secret paradise, offering an unforgettable experience.
   After the afternoon tour, return to Xinduqiao Town and check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Xinduqiao – Xinduqiao Viewing Platform – Hong Haizi – 434 Airport Road – Muge Tso – Chengdu

   After breakfast, head to the Xinduqiao Viewing Platform for an immersive experience. Afterward, proceed to Hong Haizi, known as the "Sky Mirror Hidden Between Mountains and Sea." Located along the 434 Airport Road in Kangding, the lake features crystal-clear blue waters. During spring and summer, the lakeside is lush with green grass and blooming wildflowers. In the autumn and winter, the lake is covered by a blanket of snow, resembling a white veil. On the lake’s surface, mist and light fog create a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere.
2. Mugecuo Scenic Resort

   Next, head to Mugecuo Scenic Area, with a driving time of approximately 50 minutes. The visit will last no less than 3 hours. Also known as "Wild Man Sea" or "Da Haizi," it is located at an altitude of 3,700 meters. Surrounded by mountains and forests, Mugecuo is dotted with dozens of small lakes, including Red Sea, Black Sea, and White Sea, all arranged like stars around the moon. The stunning landscape creates a mesmerizing and serene atmosphere.
3. Chengdu
   Pass by
   After the tour, the driver will pick everyone up at the entrance of the scenic area, then head to Kangding for lunch. Afterward, around 7 to 8 PM, you will return to Chengdu, concluding your wonderful trip!

Pickup details

1. About the meeting: The meeting time is generally at 07:00 AM at your hotel (Kuanzhai Alley branch). There may be changes, so please refer to the exact time as notified by the driver the evening before departure. During holidays, the meeting time will be advanced to around 5:00 AM, and the pickup time will be approximately 1-1.5 hours earlier.
2. Driver contact: The driver will contact you between 18:00 and 21:00 on the evening before departure. Please make sure to note the departure time, location, license plate number, and driver details, and keep your phone available. If you have not been contacted by 21:00, please reach out to the registration office promptly.
3. During peak season, you may encounter traffic jams and other delays, so please prepare some snacks for the journey in advance.
4. The small group is limited to one 24-inch or smaller suitcase per person, so please pack accordingly.
