What to expect

  1. Nakanoshima Park
    50m
Nakanoshima Park, nestled between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers, is Osaka’s first public park, established in the Meiji era. During the tour, you’ll visit scenic Suisho Bridge, the stunning Osaka Central Public Hall with its Neo-Renaissance architecture, the elegant Nakanoshima Library with marble columns, and Naniwa Bridge, famously guarded by lion statues. At the heart of the park, the rose garden boasts about 3,700 rose bushes—offering a tranquil and colorful escape in any season. Please note: The rose garden is typically in full bloom from mid-May to early June and again from mid-October to mid-November. Blooming times may vary depending on the season.
  2. 20m
We’ll take a pleasant walk along the riverside path toward Kitahama Station. On the way, we’ll stop by the long-established wagashi shop Minamoto Kitchoan to pick up bite-sized traditional Japanese sweets. These seasonal treats offer a delicate taste of Japan and make a perfect snack for the walk.
  3. 1h
Osaka Castle Park is a vast green space built around the iconic Osaka Castle, originally constructed by the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the late 16th century. The park features historic structures like stone walls, turrets, and moats alongside beautiful seasonal landscapes, making it a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike.
Please note: This tour does not include entry to the castle keep, but includes a relaxing walk through the park where you can admire the castle’s impressive exterior and scenic surroundings.
In autumn (early to mid-November), the park is especially beautiful—with vibrant red maple trees framing the castle and a picturesque row of ginkgo trees along the moat, offering perfect photo opportunities.
