Located 110 kilometers southeast of Rovaniemi, the 30-kilometer-long and up to 130-meter-deep canyon offers breathtaking scenery year-round. In winter, its cliffs transform into dazzling ice formations, creating some of the most impressive frozen waterfalls in Europe.
Join a guided hike through the canyon, where you can enjoy the snow-covered landscapes and take photos of impressive frozen waterfalls and stunning ice formations. After the hike, warm up by the campfire and enjoy salmon cooked over an open fire, traditional rice cakes, sweets, and homemade compote made from berries picked by your guide in the Lappish wilderness.
