As a bilingual Japanese Australian guide I can show you all around my hometown. I will be able to give you insights into Japanese life as seen thru the eyes of a person who has lived in both countries and traveled all around the world.
If you want to get to know a deeper understanding of the real Japan, from its unique culture, long and rich history, it's religious beliefs as well as its customs and norms, then this is a tour that will allow you to do all that.
This tour is fully customizable. We can change the itinerary at anytime whether before or during the actual tour. In this way, sudden changes can be implemented where warranted to maximize satisfaction levels.

Yatai Option

Duration: 6 hours: This is an Evening/ Night Tour. We will visit attractions before, during and after our Yatai eating experience.
Dinner: All foods and drink choices are to be paid by the customer.
Walking Tour: We will walk to a variety of different Yatai locations within the City.
Pickup included

Gourmet Option

Brewery Stops: Craft beer and Sake tastings are possible if desired. Costs of this activity to be paid by the client.
Duration: 7 hours
Lunch: A variety of different Fukuoka speciality foods can be chosen including Hakata Ramen, Mizutaki and Mottsunabe.
Walking Tour: Walking is the main form of transport but public transport may be used where possibke.

2nd hand thrift shopping: If you are into designer goods like bags and clothes this is the tour for you.
Duration: 7 hours: Or we can shop till you drop?
Lunch: Lunch choices are numerous and to be paid by the customer.
Walking: Predominately a walking tour but public transport will be used where possible.
Other Shops: Other shops like Daiso and Don Quijote can be visited on the day too.

    Japanese Sake is massive right now. Visit the only Sake Brewery located in the City limits and try a variety of different types.
  2. Tochoji Temple

    A spectacular Temple with many interesting features and experiences to be had. An amazingly massive Buddha to be seen as well.
  3. Kawabatadori Shopping Street

    An old/ retro arcade that is still as popular today as yesterday. A variety of shops to enjoy here.
  4. Kushida Shrine

    The cultural lifeblood of Fukuoka City where the Yamakasa Festival is held each year. The floats are a reminder of the spirit and significance of this special religious event.
  5. Canal City Hakata

    Canal City can be visited and explored on our day together. A Ramen Restaurant on the 4th floor and the fountain show every hour are the highlights.

    2nd hand shopping for clothes and designer bags is a great experience.
  7. Don Quijote Fukuoka Tenjin Honten

    Get anything and everything you need like snacks, cosmetics, souvenirs etc.
