8-Day Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta Tour

Day 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL, ZAMBEZI SUN SET BOAT CRUISE, BOMA DINNER AND DRUM SHOW

   Upon arrival at the airport, guests will be transferred to their hotel for check-in and some relaxation. At 4:00 pm, they’ll depart for a two-hour afternoon cruise on the Zambezi River, ending at sunset. This iconic experience combines serene waters, stunning vistas, and wildlife sightings along one of Africa’s most celebrated rivers, with views of the mighty Victoria Falls downstream. After the cruise, guests return to the hotel. At 7:00 pm, enjoy the Boma Dinner & Drum Show, an immersive cultural evening of traditional African cuisine, lively music, and engaging entertainment. The evening concludes with a transfer back to the hotel at 09:30 pm.

Day 2: GUIDED TOUR OF THE VICTORIA FALLS

1. Victoria Falls

   At 10:00 am, guests will be collected for a two-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. Celebrated for its sheer grandeur, visitors are enveloped in the thunderous roar of cascading water and the refreshing mist, while taking in its stunning scenery, geological significance, and diverse wildlife. At 02 pm, an optional helicopter flight offers a spectacular aerial perspective, revealing the full scale, beauty, and power of the falls in a way that cannot be fully appreciated from the ground. Guests may also opt for other activities before being transferred back to the hotel, making it a day filled with unforgettable encounters and breathtaking views.

Day 3: CHOBE FULL DAY BOAT CRUISE AND GAME DRIVE

   At 7:00 am, guests will be collected from their hotels and transferred to Chobe National Park for a full-day safari adventure that includes a scenic boat cruise along the Chobe River and an exciting game drive through the park. Located in northern Botswana, Chobe is one of Africa’s most ecologically diverse wildlife reserves, famous for its large elephant herds, abundant hippos, and a wide variety of other species in their natural habitats. As a flagship of Botswana’s conservation efforts, the park offers unmatched opportunities to observe wildlife up close in breathtaking landscapes. After a day of exploration and memorable encounters, guests will be transferred to Trave lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight accommodation, reflecting on a day immersed in Africa’s remarkable wilderness. The second day is yet another chance to tour Chobe (Game Drive and boat cruise).

Day 4: GAME VIEWING AT CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

   The 0600 hours game drive affords guests an opportunity to see wild animals when they are still supper active. It is also an opportunity to bear witness to the overnight developments. Most of the African hunters are nocturnal. The morning game drive presents an opportunity to see overnight kills before scavengers spoil the show. For the lucky guests, lions, hyenas, leopards etc can be observed eating or guarding their fresh kill. After lunch, guests are afforded yet another opportunity to enjoy the African Sun , observe wild animals as they flock to the river escaping the punishing heat of the afternoon. After the Sun Set boat cruise, guests are transferred back to the Hotel for overnight accommodation and dinner.

   0930- Back to lodge for breakfast.
   1300 hours- lunch.
   1500 hours- Sunset cruise.
   Dinner and overnight accommodation at Trave Lorge.

Day 5: Transfer to NATA/ Elephant Sands

   After breakfast, guests will check out of the lodge and begin the approximately 250 km (155-mile) journey from Chobe (Kasane) to Elephant Sands, which typically takes around 3.5 to 4 hours depending on road conditions and stops along the way. Arrival is expected around lunchtime. In the afternoon, guests will embark on a game drive, returning to Elephant Sands in time to witness elephants and other wildlife coming to the waterhole at sunset—a magical and unforgettable experience. Dinner and overnight accommodation follow at Trave lodge.

Day 6: TRANSFER FROM ELEPHANT SANDS TO MAUN

   After breakfast, guests will check out from Elephant Sands and begin the journey to Maun, covering approximately 400 km (250 miles), which typically takes 5.5 to 6 hours by car. The scenic route passes through national parks and rural villages, offering opportunities to observe wildlife, including ostriches along the way, and interact with local communities. Upon arrival in Maun, guests will check into their hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 7: Full Day Okavango Delta Safari

   Experience the Okavango Delta like never before with a traditional mokoro safari, gliding silently through winding waterways fringed with lush vegetation and teeming with wildlife and birds. This serene journey offers a unique perspective on the delta’s delicate ecosystem, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the banks. Complement this with guided walking safaris, following expert trackers through the bush to discover hidden animal tracks, learn about plants, and encounter wildlife up close. The combination of mokoro and walking safaris offers an intimate, immersive adventure, blending tranquility, excitement, and the raw beauty of one of Africa’s most iconic wildernesses.

Day 8: Transfer To Airport

   Today is your moment to relax, reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the past seven days, and enjoy any optional activities that catch your interest. When it’s time to depart, guests will be transferred to the airport according to their flight schedules, carrying memories of an incredible journey.

For airport pick ups, our drivers will be waiting by the exit point, holding placards bearing client names. For all Hotel pick ups, our drivers will be in direct communication with Hotel front desk staff and therefore we advise our guests to be seated by the reception.
